OptiCash
OptiCash is a premiere currency management solution that predicts the demand for currency at each cash point on an individual basis. By applying sophisticated mathematical algorithms to historical, event and cost data, the optimum cash position for each cashpoint is determined. Past demand, holidays, local and national events, and current trends (i.e. interest rates) are among the variable data analyzed. OptiCash then provides order recommendations, which are optimized to provide the best service levels at the lowest possible cost.
OptiCash compares the cash position and demand forecast for each individual cash point. If the anticipated demand for cash prior to the next scheduled delivery exceeds the current balance or falls within a prescribed threshold, the system will issue a pre-emptive alert. Armed with this information, bank managers can determine the best course of action. Often, simply knowing the cash position of an individual cash point will allow an operator to monitor the situation to ensure that an out-of-cash situation does not occur. Advance knowledge of a potential shortage provides the opportunity to handle the situation in a non-emergency fashion.
