Like OptiCash, OptiVault uses historical bank, ATM and commercial customer demand data to forecast future currency needs.  OptiVault takes into account seasonal fluctuations, calendars, events, and those trends that influence demand for cash at the vault or money room level.

OptiVault forecasts currency requirements and evaluates them against the various cost components associated with ordering, holding, and delivering currency to and from a vault.  OptiVault uses this information to identify the optimal cost required to meet cash demands at each vault and money room and maintains the information in line with circulation quality and cash and coin denominations for each vault.

OptiVault accurately forecasts total branch, ATM, and commercial demand for a bankwide view of overall currency requirements.  It is the most comprehensive vault cash management software solution available and is proven by money center banks worldwide.

Key Features

  • Cost Management:  Enables reducing vault cash holdings to the most efficient amount required to meet total demand
  • Vault Management:  Multiple vaults can be managed simultaneously
  • Risk Reduction:  Avoidance of cross-shipping penalties
  • Third-party Interfaces:  OptiVault can interface to other vendors’ commercial vault inventory applications, such as G&D’s System 5.  Customized interfaces to existing or home-grown commercial vault applications and management systems are also available.

What Customers are Saying

"In 2000, financial center vaults went down from $ 1.4 billion to $ 798 million average. In 2003, after our latest merger we were able to reduce another $ 200 million out of an additional $400 million vault holdings brought by the merger."
